Idaho Vacation Guide
When planning an Idaho
Vacation, there are numerous choices. Are you
looking for family fun parks and activities, outdoor adventure
or quiet, romantic locations? Regardless of what you want,
Idaho is sure to have just the place. As you plan
your stay, here a few tips to keep in mind.
Outdoor Fun:
- For hiking, water sports, backpacking and other wilderness adventures, find an outfitter who best matches you needs and interest.
- Decide how long you want to stay and how much you want to spend.
- Narrow down what regions you want to explore and what type of activities you want to experience (mountain climbing, skiing, whitewater, hunting etc.)
- Consider the experience and skill level of everyone in your group so that nobody gets left behind or struggles to keep up…no one will enjoy a trip like that!
Memory Makers:
Silverwood

in the northwest. There are more than 60 rides, shows,
and family friendly attractions.

– Water slides, tubing, bumper boats along with go
karts, bowling and many other family fun attractions.

– Learning is fun especially when it means over 130
hands on exhibits; you can see, touch and hear as you discover
great science, math and history facts without sitting in
a classroom.
Idaho Botanical Garden
– Here you can wander the winding paths through 12
gorgeous gardens; during the holidays you can see decorations
and 200,000 lights.
Nat-Soo-Pah Hot Springs – Visit the
spa and spend some time relaxing in the hot soak pool fed
by a 99 degree hot spring. There is a water slide
and nearby camping.
Minnetonka Cave –
Take a tour through the half mile of stalactites and stalagmites
that make up the largest developed limestone in Idaho.
Other great adventures in Idaho are back country pack trips,
